Workshop: “New Year, New Techniques” with Joan de Young

In this workshop, Joan will guide you to create your own “Art Quilt” design using different fibers, fabrics, and sewing techniques to create a landscape design.  You will use sheer fabrics to create a unique element, as well as learning how to add texture to areas within your quilt using the twin needle feature on your sewing machine.  You will also explore using bobbin work to define areas or outline sections on your quilts.
