Our March workshop features Linda Ballard doing her Double Your Pleasure quilt. The fun in piecing this quilt is not only learning how to make two very traditional blocks (Log Cabin and Dresden Plate), but it’s based on using a jelly roll, if not fabrics from your stash. The size of this charming wall hanging is approximately 36′ square. Quick piecing and a key ruler will make this a fun one to piece.
There’s no kit to buy for this workshop; each student will supply their own fabric or jelly roll strips. You’ll need a special Dresden ruler (see below), which can be purchased at any store or online shop that sells quilt items. More details about suggested fabric choices and amounts will be available after you register. The pattern for this project is included in the registration fee.
