Lecture: Kim Brownell, “Wacky Fusion”

Kim is known as the Wackydoodle Quilter due to her easy-going whimsical style.  Her work gravitates towards animals, nature scenes, and bright colors with techniques that include and blend fabric collage, free-form art quilts and raw edge applique.  She has been quilting since 1993.  Her lecture will teach ideas on how to approach quilt challenges, where to find them and why you should participate.  There will also be a trunk show of her quilts.
