Lecture: Shelley Swanland, 20 Years of Machine Stitched Cathedral Windows

Shelley’s trunk show is a collection of approximately forty quilts that represent work done over the last 25 years.  In 1998, Shelley developed a technique for constructing Cathedral Window quilts using layered piecing techniques and featuring rolled bias curves.  She discovered there were unlimited ways to use elements of this technique creating some fabulous results.  Quilts from her two books are included as well as quilts from magazine articles, her appearance on Simply Quilts, and her line of patterns.  She also includes some of her latest projects and stories, anecdotes of her experiences in the world of quilt designing.
